Somatheeram – "The World's First Ayurveda Resort" was founded by Mr. Baby Mathew in 1985 with a new idea: "Ayurveda Hospital in a Resort Ambience". Today, the Somatheeram Ayurveda Group operates five deluxe Ayurveda resorts in Kerala and enchanting houseboats in the backwaters.
The mission of the Group is "to offer the essence and soul of the ancient medical science of Ayurveda and the art of Yoga & Meditation." We are internationally renowned for our efforts towards the health of humanity, social responsibility, and environmental preservation.
